The latest edition of the AP Poll came out on Monday, and the Alabama men’s basketball team is now ranked No. 4. That means the Crimson Tide climbed three spots since last week after beating Ole Miss and Kentucky by a combined 48 points.

The most recent win was that game against the Wildcats, which saw Alabama come away with its largest margin of victory (26 points) in series history. The now gives Nate Oats and company a four-game win streak with the last loss coming to now No. 8 Gonzaga back on Dec. 17.

In total, Alabama has played three top-10 opponents this season. That includes an impressive 71-65 road win against top-ranked Houston. Both of the other two, which includes No. 6 UConn and No. 8 Gonzaga, remains the Crimson Tide’s only two losses of the season.

The SEC currently has five teams in the top-25 with Alabama leading the way at No. 4. From there, it’s Tennessee (No. 5), Arkansas (No. 15), Missouri (No. 20) and Auburn (No. 21). The Crimson Tide currently has a total of six games left on its schedule against those four other SEC teams.
