The Alabama men’s basketball team moved to 17-2 (7-0 SEC) on Saturday evening with another impressive conference win. This time, it was an 85-64 victory on the road against Missouri (14-5, 3-4 SEC).

Not only has Alabama not lost a conference game yet, but the Crimson Tide has also won all seven of the by 11 or more points. In fact, four of the seven were by 20 points or more. That’s not just winning; that’s dominating.

The Crimson Tide saw three players score in the double-digits with forward Noah Clowney and center Charles Bediako leading both teams with 17 points. Star freshman Brandon Miller was the third, putting up 15 points to go along with eight rebounds.

Clowney was the star of the show though. He finished with an eye-popping 14 rebounds to go with his 17 points, giving him his second double-double of the season. Even more impressive, he already had that double-double only two minutes into the second half.

This was also the first time we’ve seen guard Nimari Burnett since the Dec. 10 game against Houston. He didn’t convert either of his two field goals, but it was still great to see him out there after missing over five weeks with an injury.

Alabama will return to Coleman Coliseum on Wednesday for a home matchup against Mississippi State. So far, the Bulldogs have been the team to keel the score the closest amongst SEC opponents after the Crimson Tide only beat them by 11 points in Starkville back in late December.

Tipoff time for that second-round matchup will be 8 p.m. CT (9 p.m. ET). The game will also air on the SEC Network. Stay tuned for more coverage from the team at BamaInsider.
