Nate Oats previews Texas A&M game | Alabama Basketball

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.  No. 15 Alabama (17-7, 9-2 SEC) will host the Texas A&M Aggies (15-9, 6-5) today at Coleman Coliseum. The SEC matchup will tip off at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN.

The matchup features two players in the running for the SEC Player of the Year in Alabama’s Mark Sears and Texas A&M’s Wade Taylor IV, as Sears leads the conference at 20.5 ppg and Taylor is third at 19.8 ppg. This is the first meeting of the two squads since the 2023 SEC Championship Game (then-No. 4 Alabama defeated then-No. 18 Texas A&M, 82-63).

The team will also debut its new “Crimson Tide” throwback uniforms as Alabama welcomes its 2003-04 team, which made a run to the Elite Eight of the 2004 NCAA Tournament.
