Alabama basketball ranked No. 2 by preseason Coaches Poll
The preseason hype continues to roll on for Alabama basketball ahead of the 2024-25 season, as the Crimson Tide was ranked No. 2 nationally by the preseason Coaches Poll, released Wednesday morning. The ranking comes just over a week after Alabama was also ranked No. 2 by the preseason AP Poll.
It’s the highest preseason ranking in school history.
Coming off the first Final Four in school history, head coach Nate Oats has assembled what he considers to be his best team yet. The Crimson Tide returns five players from last year’s team, while bringing in a highly-touted transfer portal class and a top-3 class of freshman recruits.
