Alabama basketball rose in Monday’s AP Poll, jumping three spots to No. 7.

Alabama is the fourth-highest ranked SEC team, behind No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Auburn and No. 5 Kentucky, while ahead of No. 9 Florida, No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 19 Ole Miss and No. 25 Mississippi State.

Nate Oats scheduled an excellent non-conference slate for Alabama once again, and the last of its marquee opponents will visit Saturday as Creighton comes to Tuscaloosa. The Bluejays started the season ranked in the top-20 and have since dropped out, but beat No. 1 Kansas just a few days ago.

In other metrics, Alabama currently sits at No. 7 in KenPom and No. 10 in the NET rankings from the NCAA.
