The Alabama men’s basketball team has added another home game to its schedule.

The Crimson Tide will play host to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits at Coleman Coliseum on Sunday, Dec. 29, according to a report from college basketball analyst Rocco Miller

This will mark the fourth all-time meeting between Alabama and South Dakota State, with the previous three matchups all occurring in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide is 3-0 against SDSU and has faced the Jackrabbits twice during Nate Oats’ tenure as head coach. The last contest happened on Dec. 3 with Alabama claiming a 78-65 win on its home floor.

Last season, SDSU finished with a 22-13 overall record and a 12-4 mark in conference play. The Jackrabbits faced three Power Six opponents (Kansas State, UCF and Iowa State) and lost to all three, including a first-round, 82-65 loss to the Cyclones in the NCAA Tournament.

With the addition of South Dakota State, the Tide’s 2024-25 non-conference schedule is almost complete. Alabama will need to add two more games for a full 13-game slate.
