Alabama basketball unveils second throwback uniform for 2024-25 season
The Alabama men’s basketball team will wear new throwback jerseys on Saturday night.
The Crimson Tide unveiled a new throwback uniform on Tuesday, hours before its home game against Vanderbilt, but the nation’s fourth-ranked team won’t wear them until the weekend when it plays host to the LSU Tigers on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Coleman Coliseum.
This is Alabama’s second throwback uniform of the season and third in as many years. It’s the inverse of last year’s white home jersey, this one being crimson with white letters and numbers. “Crimson Tide” stretches across the front of the jersey, above and below the player’s numbers, while the classic block A with an elephant is on the shorts’ right leg.

Earlier this year, Alabama revealed another set of crimson throwback uniforms similar to what former player turned grad assistant Erwin Dudley wore for the Tide from 1999-2003.
Typically reserved for road games, Alabama will wear the crimson throwbacks for its next home game against LSU. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. CT tip on SEC Network.
