Alabama drops to No. 12 in Coaches Poll after Week 3
The Alabama football team (2-1) has now dropped in at No. 12 in the latest edition of the Coaches Poll, which was released on Sunday following all the Week 3 games. The Crimson Tide did win on Saturday, but it was a surprisingly narrow 17-3 victory over a USF squad that finished 1-11 in 2022. In other words, the drop wasn’t overly surprising.
At this point, it’s all about surviving while trying to work out the deficiencies. There are several of them too, particularly at quarterback and offensive line. This week provides a much tougher challenge with Ole Miss coming into town. The Rebels are 3-0 under head coach Lane Kiffin, and currently check in at No. 16 in the Coaches Poll.
