Alabama vs. Arkansas: Week 7 kickoff time, TV channel announced
No. 11 Alabama‘s Week 7 home matchup against Arkansas (2-3, 0-2 SEC) on Saturday, Oct. 14, will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and will air on ESPN, according to the Southeastern Conference’s schedule reveal on Monday.
This upcoming Saturday, UA (4-1, 2-0 SEC) will be traveling to College Station to take on against a borderline top 25 team in Texas A&M. Obviously, that won’t be an easy matchup for the Crimson Tide, but to then follow it up with Arkansas and Tennessee makes for an especially difficult three-game stretch. This is the SEC though, so these types of runs are bound to happen.
Arkansas is a better team than its 2-3 record would indicate. Sure, the seven-point loss at home to a 4-1 BYU isn’t great, but the Razorbacks pushed LSU to the limit in Baton Rouge with a 34-31 final score favoring the Tigers. And the difference in the Texas A&M-Arkansas outcome this past Saturday was an 11-point hole Sam Pittman and company dug in the first half.
The dynamite backfield of KJ Jefferson and Rocket Sanders hasn’t been as effective in 2023 as it has been in previous seasons, but it’s still a duo capable of doing some damage. In other words, UA needs to be weary of those two come Oct. 14.

As mentioned earlier, Alabama will first travel to Texas to take on the Aggies this weekend. It will be an 2:30 p.m. kickoff (CBS). The Razorbacks, on the other hand, will face off against Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss in Week 6. That game is set for 6:30 p.m. and air on the SEC Network.
