The Week 10 matchup between No. 9 Alabama (7-1, 5-0 SEC) and No. 15 LSU (6-2, 4-1 SEC) coming up on Saturday, Nov. 4, will kick off at 6:45 p.m. CT and will air on CBS, according to the latest schedule release from the Southeastern Conference on Monday.

The Crimson Tide are off this Saturday after eight-straight games to start the season. The Tigers are also on a bye, which means both teams should be refreshed and ready to go come next Saturday. The last time these two teams played, LSU managed to capitalize on a two-point conversion in overtime to beat Alabama 32-31 in Baton Rouge.

Brian Kelly‘s program has seen its fair share of struggles this year, but it’s tough to argue against a 6-2 record, which includes being 6-1 over the last seven weeks with the lone loss being by six points to now No. 12 Ole Miss. Of course, the first defeat came at the hands of No. 4 Florida State in the season opener. The Seminoles drummed the Tigers in that one, coming away with a 45-24 victory.

And for anyone concerned about Alabama only beating an Arkansas squad 24-21 in Week 7, remember that LSU also beat them by only three points (34-31) back in late September. That Tigers defense has struggled at times this year, but quarterback Jayden Daniels, wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. and the rest of that offense compensate for any deficiencies.

In other words, this showdown in a couple of weeks is expected to be a good one.
