Alabama DB Domani Jackson carted to locker room vs. South Carolina
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson was carted to the locker room after he sustained an injury in the second quarter of Saturday’s South Carolina game.
Jackson is questionable with a lower-body injury, per a UA spokesman.
Jackson stayed down on a knee after making a tackle on Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers and needed help off the field. He went straight to the Crimson Tide’s sideline medical tent before a cart was brought out to take him to the Alabama locker room.

*** Update: Jackson returned to the game in the third quarter.
Jackson, a USC transfer, had started the first five games of the season. He was responsible for 19 tackles, three pass breakups and one interception prior to his injury on Saturday.
With Jackson out, Alabama is mostly relying on two true freshmen at the cornerback positions. Zabien Brown was the other starter versus South Carolina, while Jaylen Mbakwe stepped in for Jackson when he exited the game. DaShawn Jones has also played in Week 7.
