Alabama DL Jah-Marien Latham returning for 2025 season
Alabama defensive lineman Jah-Marien Latham will return in 2025 to use his final season of eligibility, he announced on Instagram Wednesday.
Latham will be entering his sixth year of college football next season, but still has eligibility after the 2020 season didn’t count due to COVID and he redshirted during the 2021 season. He’s been a mainstay along Alabama’s defensive line the past few years, serving as a co-starter at the bandit spot this past season next to LT Overton. He totaled 26 tackles and a sack this past season.
Towards the end of the season, Latham also spent time playing the wolf position, what Alabama calls its outside linebacker or edge rusher.

Latham was not projected high at all in mocks for the 2025 NFL Draft, some services projecting him to go undrafted, which likely played a role in his decision to return.
Outside of Latham, Overton also announced a return for his senior season. Alabama brought in help at the bandit spot in Florida transfer Kelby Collins, alongside returners Jordan Renaud and Keon Keeley.
