Over the past month Reid has started to turn a corner in his adjustment to the college game, being trusted by head coach Nate Oats in many late-game situations due to his stellar defensive efforts. In his absence, Oats will likely give more minutes to wings like Chris Youngblood.
Alabama has another six days off between today’s game and it’s next game against No. 12 Oklahoma, which will be on Saturday, Jan. 4.
Tipoff between Alabama and South Dakota State is set for 2 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.
