Alabama has dropped in the latest AP Poll, which came out on Sunday afternoon. The news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as the team struggled against in a tough road contest against Texas on Saturday. Despite being a 20.5-point favorite, the Crimson Tide narrowly escaped with a 20-19 victory.

The good news here is that Texas, despite the loss, now finds itself in the top 25. That will certainly bolster Alabama’s resume. With one top-25 opponent down, the Crimson Tide still have to face four more in the regular season, including No. 10 Arkansas, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 20 Ole Miss and No. 24 Texas A&M.

The same eight SEC teams remain in the top 25 from last week, but it looks wildly different. Not only did Georgia jump Alabama, but Texas A&M took a steep drop from No. 6 to 24 after getting upset by Appalachian State. Meanwhile, Kentucky and Arkansas are both top-10 teams after starting the year 2-0.

Below, you’ll find the entire updated AP Poll after Week 2.
