Alabama drops to No. 3 in AP Poll after narrow win over A&M
After climbing back to No. 1 just a week ago, Alabama (6-0, 3-0 SEC) has dropped down to No. 3 in the latest AP Poll following the team’s narrow 24-20 victory over Texas A&M on Saturday night. The Crimson Tide were 24-point favorites going in, but four turnovers helped the Aggies keep it close.
Georgia is the team that took Alabama’s place at No. 1 after beating Auburn 42-10. Obviously with the drop to No. 3, the Bulldogs weren’t the only team to jump the Crimson Tide. Ohio State did too after a four-plus touchdown victory over Michigan State.
