This weekend, the Crimson Tide are set to wrap up their regular season by playing Auburn in the annual Iron Bowl. Kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium is set for 2:30 p.m. CT (3:30 ET), and the game will air on CBS. If Alabama walks away victorious, it’ll make 15 straight seasons of 10-plus wins.
Meanwhile, the Tigers are trying to become bowl eligible.
They started 3-1, but then proceeded to lose four straight before now former head coach Bryan Harsin was fired. Since Cadillac Williams took over as the interim coach, Auburn has won two of three games with the lone loss coming in overtime against Mississippi State.

The same five SEC teams remained in the latest top 25, and that included four ranked amongst the top 10 teams. Those teams are Georgia at No. 1, LSU at No. 5, Alabama at No. 7 and Tennessee at No. 10. As things sit, the Tide’s two losses have come on the road against two top-10 teams, and they’ve only been by four points combined.
Meanwhile, Alabama has two top-25 wins in Ole Miss (No. 20) and Texas (No. 23), both of which were on the road. Unfortunately, the losses are going to keep them out of the SEC Championship Game, and more than likely, out of the College Football Playoff.
