TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 13-ranked Alabama (2-1) will play No. 15 Ole Miss (3-0) in its first SEC game of the season this afternoon. The Crimson Tide and Rebels will face off at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and the SEC West matchup will kick off at 2:39 p.m. CT on CBS.

Alabama and Ole Miss will meet for the 71st time today. The Tide holds a 58-10-2 all-time advantage in the series, including a 28-2 mark in Tuscaloosa. UA is currently riding a 7-game winning streak against the Rebels, including last season’s 30-24 win in Oxford.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban is 18-3 all-time and 14-2 at UA against the Rebels for his career. Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin is 0-4 against the Tide in his head coaching career, with one loss coming at Tennessee and the other three occurring in his time in Oxford.

PREGAME

— Nick Saban on injuries heading into the Ole Miss game: “I think we’re OK. We’ll evaluate some of these guys in pregame, but they’ve been able to practice pretty consistently, which is usually a good indicator they’ll be able to play in the game.”

— Kendrick Law (sick) is in uniform and fielding kicks in warmups.

— Tyler Booker (back) and Jaheim Oatis (ankle) are both in uniform and going through drills during pregame warmups right now. Booker is working at left guard with the first-team OL, while Oatis is one of the first three DL to go through individual drills.

— Alabama wins the toss and elects to defer to the second half. Ole Miss will receive the opening kickoff.

FIRST QUARTER

— Jaheim Oatis (ankle) gets the start after missing last week’s USF game.

— Jaxson Dart finds Caden Prieskorn wide open over the middle for a 21-yard gain to the Ole Miss 48.

— Kool-Aid McKinstry with a TFL of Quinshon Judkins to force an Ole Miss punt from the 50-yard line.

— Tyler Booker (back) gets the start at left guard after missing Week 3.

— On 3rd and 2, Jalen Milroe keeps it and picks up the first — and then some. A 20-yard run puts Alabama at its own 37-yard line.

— Jalen Milroe moves the chains again, this time on an 18-yard run. Tide is now into Ole Miss territory.

— Kendrick Law (sick) checks in at WR on Alabama’s first drive. Now, all three players that missed last week’s game have seen action.

— Jalen Milroe is sacked on 3rd and 5, bringing up a long FG attempt.

FIELD GOAL: Alabama 3, Ole Miss 0 (6:57)

— Will Reichard boots a 48-yarder through the uprights.

— Jaxson Dart finds another open receiver, Dayton Wade, for a big gain down to the Alabama 35.

TOUCHDOWN: Ole Miss 7, Alabama 3 (3:55)

— Jaxson Dart keeps it for a walk-in score (10 yards).

— On 3rd and 7, Jalen Milroe’s pass to Isaiah Bond falls incomplete. Alabama goes three-and-out and will punt from its own 28-yard line.

— James Burnip’s first punt travels 56 yards and is fair-caught by the Rebels at their own 21-yard line.

— Alabama defense comes up with a three-and-out of its own, and Ole Miss will punt from its own 28.

SECOND QUARTER

— Jalen Milroe finds freshman WR Jalen Hale open for a big gain to the Ole Miss 33-yard line.

— Jalen Milroe’s third-down pass to the end zone is intercepted.

— Deontae Lawson is down and looks to be holding his right ankle. Trainers are out to check on him. He walks off under his own power with no sign of a limp but is headed to the sideline medical tent.

— Chris Braswell sacks Jaxson Dart to bring up 4th and 21 and an Ole Miss punt from its own 9-yard line.

— Ja’Corey Brooks blocks the punt, giving his offense the ball at the Ole Miss 1-yard line. A huge play.

— Elijah Pritchett is now in at left tackle to start this drive. But a bad snap moves the Tide back…

FIELD GOAL: Ole Miss 7, Alabama 6 (5:42)

— Will Reichard boots a 40-yarder through the uprights.

— Deontae Lawson just emerged from the tent and walked to the locker room with more of a limp.

— After a slow start, the Alabama defense is starting to settle in. The last three Ole Miss drives have been all three-and-outs for a combined -2 yards.

— Deontae Lawson is questionable to return with a lower extremity injury, per the CBS broadcast.

— Jam Miller is at running back to start Alabama’s fifth offensive drive.

— Terrence Ferguson checks in at right guard after Darrian Dalcourt exits the game with an apparent arm injury. Alabama with new guys at RG and LT (Pritchett) now.

— Tight ends out here making plays. First, CJ Dippre and now Amari Niblack. But an illegal shift flag negates the first-down pickup.

— Pass interference penalty on the Rebels gives Alabama a fresh set of downs at its own 36-yard line.

— Jalen Milroe sacked for the fourth time today, and Alabama will punt from its own 28. It looked like RG Terrence Ferguson, who is already in for a banged-up Darrian Dalcourt, came up limping on the play, too.

— Terrence Ferguson is gingerly walking to the locker room with 1:06 left to play in the first half.

— Chris Braswell called for roughing the passer. Ole Miss with the ball at the UA 21 with 0:30 left in the 2Q.

— Caden Davis misses a 34-yard field goal attempt. Alabama takes over with 0:13 left in the first half.

THIRD QUARTER

— Kadyn Proctor and Darrian Dalcourt are both back on the field to begin the second half.

— Jalen Milroe dials up a deep shot and hits Jermaine Burton for a 54-yard gain to the Ole Miss 21.

— Holding flag on Jermaine Burton wipes away a Jase McClellan TD. That’s five scores negated by penalties through the first four games.

— Jalen Milroe lines up under center and picks the first down on a QB sneak. Wow, what a concept.

FIELD GOAL: Alabama 9, Ole Miss 7 (11:11)

— Will Reichard boots his third FG through the uprights.

— Terrion Arnold picks off a deep shot from Jaxson Dart at the Tide 4 and returns it 37 yards to the 41.

— Jalen Milroe took a shot on that TD pass and remained down after the long scoring throw to Jalen Hale. But he just popped up and celebrated with his teammates.

TOUCHDOWN: Alabama 17, Ole Miss 7 (6:29)

— Jalen Milroe looks deep for WR Jalen Hale (33 yards). The 2-point conversion is good.

— Jam Miller with a big hit in kickoff coverage, and Ole Miss will start out inside of its own 10-yard line.

— After review, Jam Miller is flagged for targeting and is ejected. He’ll have to miss the first half of next week’s Mississippi State game.

— On 4th and 1 at the Alabama 25, Ole Miss moves the chains on a toss sweep to Ulysses Bentley IV.

FIELD GOAL: Alabama 17, Ole Miss 10 (0:34)

— Caden Davis boots a 36-yarder through the uprights.

FOURTH QUARTER

— Jalen Milroe finds Robbie Ouzts over the middle for a 21-yard gain down to the Rebels’ 30-yard line.

TOUCHDOWN: Alabama 24, Ole Miss 10 (12:10)

— Jase McClellan with the 8-yard rushing score.

— Justin Jefferson forces a fumble on that kickoff, but Ole Miss falls on it. Rebels take over at their own 17.

— Dallas Turner sacks Jaxson Dart on 3rd and 11, and Ole Miss will punt from its own 18-yard line.

— Alabama’s first punt of the second half comes with 8:20 left in the game.

— Kendrick Blackshire with a TFL to bring up 4th and 8 at the OM 29. Rebels go for it and convert on a 12-yard pass from Dart to Watkins.

— Chris Braswell drops Jaxson Dart for a sack, UA’s fourth of the day.

— Caleb Downs breaks up a pass on 3rd and 23. Rebels going for it at their own 45 with 4:06 left to play. They covert.

— Dallas Turner with a strip sack, but Ole Miss comes up with the ball. Rebels facing 3rd and 16 at the Alabama 18 with 2:13 to play.

— On 4th and 16, Malachi Moore rocks Jaxson Dart, and his pass hits the turf. Alabama takes over, up 24-10, with 2:06 left on the game clock.
