Live Updates: Alabama 34, Tennessee 20; Final
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 11-ranked Alabama (6-1, 4-0 SEC) will host No. 17 Tennessee (5-1, 2-1) this afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Third Saturday in October rivalry game between the Crimson Tide and Volunteers is set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.
Alabama and Tennessee will meet for the 106th time. The Tide leads the all-time series, 59-38-8, and has won nine straight in Tuscaloosa as part of a 32-17-7 mark at home.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban is 17-2 in his career against the Vols, including a 15-1 record as head coach of the Crimson Tide. Josh Heupel will be facing Alabama for the third time during his head coaching tenure and owns a 1-1 mark in the last two matchups.

PREGAME
— Alabama captains vs. Tennessee: Malachi Moore, Tyler Booker and Deontae Lawson.
— Former Alabama linebackers Reggie Ragland, Ryan Anderson and Courtney Upshaw are on the Crimson Tide sideline for warmups.
— CJ Dippre and Trezmen Marshall are both in uniform for pregame warmups. Dippre is leading the tight ends through drills, but Marshall has mostly watched the other linebackers from off to the side.
— Malachi Moore (ankle) is warming up at the Star position with the first-team defense in 7-on-7 drills.
— Malachi Moore, CJ Dippre and Trezmen Marshall are all working with the ones in 11-on-11 drills.
— Alabama wins the toss and elects to defer to the second half. Tennessee will receive the opening kickoff.
FIRST QUARTER
— Malachi Moore (ankle) starts the game at Star. Jihaad Campbell, not Trez Marshall, gets the start at ILB alongside Deontae Lawson.
— Tim Keenan stays down after the Vols moved the chains. Looks like UA trainers were checking out his left arm. Keenan jogs to the medical tent under his own power.
TOUCHDOWN: Tennessee 7, Alabama 0 (12:39)
— Joe Milton hits WR Squirrel White for a 39-yard score.
— Tim Keenan is out of the tent and on the bench with the other DL.
— CJ Dippre starting the game at TE. Jaeden Roberts is making his third consecutive start at right guard.
— Tim Keenan is back on the field to start UA’s second defensive drive.
— The Alabama defense responds to force a three-and-out, and the Vols will punt from their own 15.
— Jalen Milroe hits Malik Benson for a 17-yard gain to the Alabama 47.
— Jalen Milroe’s deep shot to Isaiah Bond sails out of bounds, and UA will punt from the Tennessee 47.
— Joe Milton connects with Squirrel White to move the sticks on 3rd and 8. Milton is now 8-for-8 for 93 yards and the opening-drive TD.

SECOND QUARTER
— Kendrick Law takes a jet sweep (!) 34 yards to the Tennessee 39.
— Jalen Milroe is sacked for a 7-yard loss on 3rd and 7 to knock the Tide out of field goal range. Alabama will punt from the Vols 43-yard line.
— Big stop by the Alabama defense to force a three-and-out. Vols will punt from their own 19-yard line.
— Jase McClellan takes the pitch from Milroe and moves the chains on a 10-yard run. It marks the third first down so far for Alabama.
— Jalen Milroe finds Jermaine Burton for a 22-yard gain to the Vols 24.
— Jalen Milroe rolls out and dumps it off to Isaiah Bond for another first down, and UA is in the red zone.

TOUCHDOWN: Tennessee 13, Alabama 7 (7:05)
— Jalen Milroe hits Jermaine Burton for a 10-yard TD.
— After review, Joe Milton was ruled short of the line to gain. It’ll be 4th and 1 for Tennessee at its own 35. The Vols offense stays on the field and Alabama stops him again. The Tide takes over with prime field position at the Vols 34-yard line.
— Tennessee defense is flagged for delay of game, which gives the Tide a fresh set of downs at the UT 23.
— Jalen Milroe looks for Jermaine Burton in the end zone, but the ball is tipped and intercepted. Vols take over at their own 20 with 3:10 left to play in the first half.
— The Vols are marching again. Joe Milton finds Ramel Keyton for a 30-yard gain to the Alabama 20.
— After review, Joe Milton got enough for a first down, and Tennessee now has 1st and Goal at the Alabama 10 with 0:32 left in the 2Q.
