Alabama football scholarship distribution, eligibility tracker 2021
Keep track of all 85 Crimson Tide football players on scholarship with the Alabama scholarship distribution and eligibility tracker for the 2021 season.
Head coach Nick Saban always seems to work some magic to get his roster down to the 85 scholarship limit. This year, he gets a little wiggle room due to COVID-19 legislation that allowed seniors to return without counting towards that total. Every non-senior on the roster last season also got to retain their year of eligibility.
Keep in mind, the official Alabama roster advanced every player’s classification up regardless of that extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA. Bryce Young, for example, is technically still a freshman by eligibility standards, but the Tide list him as a sophomore.
All the players with three or fewer years of eligibility remaining after this season will be eligible for the 2021 NFL Draft.
