Fans hoping to watch Alabama’s 15th and final spring practice, the A-Day Game, will have to make their way to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, April 12. The Crimson Tide on Friday announced there will be no live broadcast of its annual spring football game this year.

Admission will once again be free to all fans. The spring scrimmage will kick off at noon CT.

Alabama’s spring games were either been broadcast on television or streamed online for all of the Saban era. The Crimson Tide didn’t hold an A-Day Game in 2020, but every other year was either available to view on ESPN’s family of networks, SEC Network+ or CSS.

Last year’s A-Day Game, the first under Kalen DeBoer was broadcast live on ESPN.

While other schools have canceled their spring games, Alabama will still cap its spring with an A-Day Game. However, DeBoer recently told On3 the spring game will be “modified.”

“A lot of times here, the A-Day Game, it’s been more of a practice, and there’s been some scrimmaging, not necessarily much of a game,” DeBoer said. “Even when I was at Fresno State, we called it the spring preview. Especially this year, there’s some things we’re working through with some injuries and so forth. So it’ll definitely be modified.

“We want to try to have some type of event around April 12.”
