Alabama forward Mo Dioubate is entering the transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reports.

The Queens, New York native spent two seasons with the Crimson Tide, coming in as a fringe top-100 4-star recruit in the 2023 recruiting cycle. He played limited minutes as a true freshman, averaging just 7.8 minutes per game, but had some major moments including a timely 9-point, 5-offensive rebound performance against Grand Canyon in the NCAA Tournament.

He grew into a much larger role during his sophomore season, doubling his minutes to over 16 per game. He saw an increase in virtually every major statistical category, bumping his averages to 7.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, being one of the Tide’s most effective rebounders.

He also made a notable jump as a shooter towards the end of his sophomore season, ending the year making 46.2 percent of his 3-point shot albeit on extremely low volume.

Dioubate’s exit comes after Alabama has already brought in multiple transfers in the frontcourt, including Bucknell center Noah Williamson and Florida State forward Taylor Bol Bowen.

Dioubate is the second Alabama player to leave via the transfer portal this cycle, joining freshman Naas Cunningham. He will have two years of eligibility remaining at his next school.
