Alabama senior forward Nick Pringle has entered the NCAA transfer portal, BamaOnLine has learned, becoming the fifth Crimson Tide player to transfer after the 2023-24 season.

In his second year at Alabama, Pringle appeared in 34 of the Crimson Tide’s 37 games, making 16 starts. He missed three games due to two separate suspensions for “conduct detrimental to the team.” But Pringle turned things around late in the season, recording double-doubles twice before the NCAA Tournament and another during the Elite Eight.

The 6-foot-10 forward from Seabrook, S.C., appeared in 68 games in his two years at Alabama and oftentimes provided an emotional boost for the Crimson Tide. He grew into one of the top leaders on the team this season while averaging 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He also played 10 more minutes compared to the 2022-23 campaign (8.1 vs. 18.3).

Some of Pringle’s best games came in the NCAA Tournament. Last year, he produced a career best 19 points and 15 rebounds in the opening round against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. In the Elite Eight matchup with Clemson, a team from his home state, Pringle had career-highs in free throws (8-13) and season-highs in rebounds (11), assists (3) and blocks (2).
