Alabama freshman left tackle Kadyn Proctor plans to enter transfer portal
Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor plans to enter the transfer portal, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Proctor is the eighth Crimson Tide player to plan to enter the transfer portal after head coach Nick Saban announced his retirement. Players have an additional 30-day window to transfer with a coaching change. This comes after the 30-day window window in December.
Proctor, a true freshman, played in and started all 14 games at left tackle for Alabama this past season. The 6-foot-7, 360-pounder was selected to the All-SEC Freshman Team.
Proctor is the third Crimson Tide offensive lineman to choose to transfer since the December window opened. With right tackle JC Latham entering the NFL draft, Alabama could be faced with replacing three offensive line starters – both tackles and center Seth McLaughlin.

A Des Moines, Iowa, native, Proctor was a Five-State Plus player in the 2023 recruiting class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was considered the nation’s No. 9 overall prospect and the top offensive tackle. Proctor was committed to Iowa before flipping to Alabama.
