Alabama issued its final availability report before its home finale against Auburn.

There were no surprises on Alabama’s last availability report of the week, as only four players were listed and all four are set to miss the remainder of the Crimson Tide’s season – safety Keon Sabb, wide receiver Cole Adams and linebackers Que Robinson and Deontae Lawson. Lawson joins the others after suffering a lower-extremity injury at Oklahoma.

“We’ll lose him for the season with a season-ending injury,” said Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer on Monday. “Just an amazing leader, chosen team captain by the team. I can see not just what he means to us on the field but just the love that our players have for him, especially those that have been through multiple years.

“Seeing what he pours into it, I know we all feel for him. We appreciate everything he’s been doing. Obviously, you greatly miss what he does on the football field, but love having that guy in the locker room leading your team. So thinking about him.”

The No. 13 Crimson Tide (8-3, 4-3 SEC) and Auburn (5-6, 2-5) are scheduled to square off at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The 89th Iron Bowl will kick at 2:30 p.m. on ABC.

SEC Availability Report Policies

Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics season, all Southeastern Conference schools will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in the sports of football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball.

In football, prior to a Saturday football game, an institution must issue the Initial Report on Wednesday by 7 p.m. CT and update the Availability Report once per day on Thursday and Friday (after the conclusion of practice and before 7 p.m.). These updated reports will be referred to as the “Thursday Update” and “Friday Update.”

On game day, an institution must provide one Game Day Update no later than 90 minutes before game time. On the Game Day Update, the only permissible designation statuses are:

• Available – Will dress for the game and be available to play

• Game Time Decision – Coaches and/or medical personnel need to evaluate the athlete in pre-game warmups before deciding whether he can participate in the game

• Out – Not dressing or available for the game
