Alabama issues final player availability report for Oklahoma game
Alabama issued its final availability report before its road matchup with Oklahoma.
There were no surprises on Alabama’s last availability report of the week. Only three players were listed and all three are set to miss the remainder of the Crimson Tide’s season – safety Keon Sabb, wide receiver Cole Adams and linebacker Que Robinson. Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer revealed on Monday that Sabb would be out the rest of the year.
“I know it will obviously be through this season, but we expect him back and ready to roll for next year, of course,” said DeBoer in his first press conference of Oklahoma week.
The No. 7 Crimson Tide (8-2, 4-2 SEC) and Oklahoma (5-5, 1-5) are scheduled to square off at Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The game will kick at 6:30 p.m. on ABC.

Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics season, all Southeastern Conference schools will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in the sports of football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball.

In football, prior to a Saturday football game, an institution must issue the Initial Report on Wednesday by 7 p.m. CT and update the Availability Report once per day on Thursday and Friday (after the conclusion of practice and before 7 p.m.). These updated reports will be referred to as the “Thursday Update” and “Friday Update.”
On game day, an institution must provide one Game Day Update no later than 90 minutes before game time. On the Game Day Update, the only permissible designation statuses are:
• Available – Will dress for the game and be available to play
• Game Time Decision – Coaches and/or medical personnel need to evaluate the athlete in pre-game warmups before deciding whether he can participate in the game
• Out – Not dressing or available for the game
