Alabama Football issued its final availability report before its matchup with South Carolina.

Wide receiver Kendrick Law was ruled a game-time decision, while receiver Kobe Prentice and linebacker Yhonzae Pierre, who underwent surgery this week, were ruled out.

In Alabama’s 40-35 loss to Vanderbilt last week, Prentice exited the game in the first half and never returned. Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer offered an update on both Prentice and Law wide, who missed the Georgia game because of a lower-body injury.

“Both of them are out here going through workouts,” DeBoer said on Wednesday. “On track like we thought they should be, making progress towards the weekend. I wouldn’t say they’re a full-go yet, but they’re on pace like we had hoped. Getting some work in, some individual and some team work there, too. It’s progressing along, and they’re doing a good job.”

The No. 7-ranked Crimson Tide (4-1, 1-1 SEC) is scheduled to host South Carolina (3-2, 1-2) at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on ABC.

SEC Availability Report Policies

Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics season, all Southeastern Conference schools will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in the sports of football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball.

In football, prior to a Saturday football game, an institution must issue the Initial Report on Wednesday by 7 p.m. CT and update the Availability Report once per day on Thursday and Friday (after the conclusion of practice and before 7 p.m.). These updated reports will be referred to as the “Thursday Update” and “Friday Update.”

On game day, an institution must provide one Game Day Update no later than 90 minutes before game time. On the Game Day Update, the only permissible designation statuses are:

• Available – Will dress for the game and be available to play

• Game Time Decision – Coaches and/or medical personnel need to evaluate the athlete in pre-game warmups before deciding whether he can participate in the game

• Out – Not dressing or available for the game
