Alabama players continue to get well-deserved recognition for their outstanding performances this season. On Friday, four Crimson Tide standouts made the 2021 Football Writers of America All-America Team.

Two of those came on offense, one on defense and one on special teams.

The two offensive players, unsurprisingly, were quarterback Bryce Young and offensive tackle Evan Neal. Both Young and Neal have been instrumental to Alabama fielding the No. 4 scoring offense, averaging 42.5 points per game, and the No. 6 offense in total yardage per game (495.5).

Both were first-team selections.

Outside linebacker Will Anderson was a first-team selection on defense while wide receiver Jameson Williams, after averaging 37.44 yards per return and scoring two touchdowns, was named as a second-team kick returner.

Keep in mind that the FWAA is one of five different outlets that determine the consensus All-American team. The other four include the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Sporting News, the Associated Press and the American Football Coaches Association.
