Alabama senior outside linebacker Chris Braswell has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl in early February, the game announced on Friday morning.
Braswell is the third Crimson Tide player to accept an invite to play in the upcoming all-star game for seniors, which will take place inside Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Ala. Kicker Will Reichard and defensive lineman Justin Eboigbe accepted theirs last month.
Braswell played in every game of this past season and was on the field for the first snap twice, although he was the Tide’s starting Jack linebacker. He finished the 2023 campaign with career-highs in tackles (42), tackles for loss (10.5), sacks (8.0), forced fumbles (3) and interceptions (1). Braswell ranked fifth in the SEC in sacks in his final season of college.
Braswell was one of 10 Alabama players who were selected to the Senior Bowl’s preseason watch list that also included Trey Amos, Jermaine Burton, Justin Ebogibe, Trezmen Marshall, Jase McClellan, Seth McLaughlin, Malachi Moore, Tim Smith and Roydell Williams.
