Alabama makes changes to DB depth chart before Missouri game
Alabama made a few changes to its depth chart before its game against Missouri.
With Keon Sabb out because of injury, Bray Hubbard is now listed as the starting free safety. Kam Howard, a transfer from Charlotte, is the backup. Malachi Moore and DeVonta Smith are the starters at strong safety and Husky, respectively, but their backups are different.
King Mack, who ended last week’s game at Tennessee as the first-team Husky, is listed as the backup strong safety. Cornerback DaShawn Jones and Red Morgan are listed as co-backups at the Husky position behind Smith. Jones played 34 snaps at corner last weekend.

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer hinted at some secondary changes earlier this week.
“There’s some other guys that will move around,” DeBoer said on his Wednesday radio show. “Some of it, I want to keep on the down-low as far as positions. But that position and just all the safeties and defensive backs will continue to work.”
