Alabama-Mizzou Pregame Show: What the Tide, Jalen Milroe need to do on Homecoming
No. 15-ranked Alabama (5-2, 2-2 SEC) will welcome No. 21 Missouri (6-1, 2-1) to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Homecoming game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC).
This will be just the eighth meeting between the Crimson Tide and Tigers, and Alabama owns a 5-2 edge in the all-time series, including a 2-0 at home. Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has never faced Mizzou during his coaching career, though he is familiar with the Tigers’ offensive coordinator Kirby Moore. Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz is 0-1 against the Tide.

Tide can make the CFP but needs help
Alabama has now lost two games this season, marking the first time it has had a pair of losses before November since 2007. The Crimson Tide suffered a 24-17 defeat at Tennessee this past weekend, which saw UA commit 15 penalties, go 3-of-14 on third down and turn the ball over twice in its second loss in its last three outings, this season and with the Vols.
The Tide will look to bounce back this weekend when it plays host to a Missouri team that eked out a win over Auburn the last time out. BamaOnLine staff members Charlie Potter, Blake Byler and Jimmy Stein discuss this weekend’s football game and talk a little UA hoops.
