George has seen his playing time drastically decrease this season. Last year, he saw 268 snaps at right tackle in 12 games with three of those being starts. The starts included New Mexico State, Arkansas and Auburn. He was steady in the first two, but he allowed five pressures, including two hurries, a QB hit and two sacks against the Tigers.
During the offseason, the 6-foot-6, 333-pound offensive lineman made the move inside to guard, but he also still saw some time at tackle. George spent move of the spring working with the first team at right guard with starter Emil Ekiyor Jr. out, but once Ekiyor returned, George slide down the depth chart.

This season, we’ve only seen George get playing time in one game, and that was the season opener against Utah State. He played 20 snaps at right tackle with the game out of hand, but from there, he lost playing time to five-star freshman Tyler Booker at guard and Amari Kight — and at times, Kendall Randolph — at offensive tackle.
George still has some upside as a player, but his issues in pass protection will need to get cleaned up.
If he can do that, he can make an impact somewhere. Coming out of high school in 2020, he was rated as a four-star player. The On3 Consensus rankings had him as the No. 336 player nationally, No. 36 offensive tackle and No. 46 player from the state of Texas.
Stay tuned to find out there the former Alabama starter ends up.
