Alabama right tackle Elijah Pritchett plans to enter the transfer portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Pritchett is the 22nd Crimson Tide player to leave in the winter window.

Pritchett played in all 13 of Alabama’s games this past season and started 12 of them – 10 at right tackle, two at left tackle. He opened the season at left tackle, in place of an injured Kadyn Proctor, and then moved over to right tackle in Week 3. Per Pro Football Focus, Pritchett gave up 23 hurries and six sacks in 326 pass-blocking snaps in 2024.

This marks the second offseason in a row that Pritchett has entered the transfer portal. He also entered in 2023 but only briefly, changing his mind, withdrawing and returning to UA.

Pritchett’s expected departure leaves Alabama with four offensive tackles for 2025. Proctor, the starting left tackle, is set to return, as is Wilkin Formby, who also received reps at right tackle this past year as a redshirt freshman. The Tide signed Jackson Lloyd in the 2025 cycle and received a commitment from Ball State transfer Arkel Anugwom.
