Alabama fifth-year senior placekicker Will Reichard has accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl in early February, the game announced on Saturday afternoon.

The veteran is the first Crimson Tide player to accept an invite to play in the upcoming all-star game for seniors, which will take place inside Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Ala.

The NCAA’s all-time leader in career points, Reichard accepted an invitation to play in last year’s Senior Bowl before returning to Alabama for one more year. However, he was not one of the 10 Crimson Tide players who were selected to the Senior Bowl’s preseason watch list. That included Trey Amos, Chris Braswell, Jermaine Burton, Justin Eboigbe, Trezmen Marshall, Jase McClellan, Seth McLaughlin, Malachi Moore, Tim Smith and Roydell Williams.

The Senior Bowl is the longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile the past 74 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1,100 media members from around the country were credentialed last year. In each of the past three years, the Senior Bowl has had 100 or more players drafted and over 40 percent of the draft class, which are both record-setting figures for any all-star game.
