After going 2-0 this past week with a 16-point win over Vanderbilt and a 7-point win over LSU, Alabama stayed put at No. 4 in this week’s AP Poll.

It’s the third consecutive week the Crimson Tide has been ranked No. 4, as the top-4 of Auburn, Duke, Iowa State and Alabama have been constant in their performances during league play.

Also ranking No. 7 in the NET with five Quad 1 wins, Alabama has put together one of the best resumes in all of college basketball. The Tide is projected as a 1-seed according to the majority of bracketologists, with plenty of chances to continue adding to its resume in the gauntlet that is the SEC.

The SEC continues to be the best conference in the sport this season, and has 10 teams ranked in this week’s poll. Those teams include No. 1 Auburn, No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Florida, No. 8 Tennessee, No. 12 Kentucky, No. 13 Texas A&M, No. 14 Mississippi State, No. 20 Missouri, No. 23 Ole Miss and No. 24 Vanderbilt.

The Crimson Tide’s game on Wednesday night will be a road trip to Starkville to take on No. 14 Mississippi State. The game will tip off at 8 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
