Alabama schedules home-and-home with Minnesota for 2032-33

The Alabama football team will face off against the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a home-and-home series set for the 2032 and 2033 seasons. That scheduling news was announced by both schools early on Tuesday morning.

That first matchup will be a road game for the Crimson Tide. They’ll travel to Minneapolis (Minn.) on Sept. 18, 2032. Meanwhile, Minnesota will come to Tuscaloosa almost one year later to the day. The date is set for Sept. 13, 2033.

Barring some unforeseen postseason matchup, this is will be the first time the two programs have met since the 2004 Music City Bowl. The Golden Gophers won that game 20-16 after a failed fourth down attempt by quarterback Spencer Pennington and the rest of the Crimson Tide offense.

Alabama continues to move away from the neutral site games and more into home-and-home series with prominent programs. Right now, the number of home-and-home series currently scheduled for the program sits at 13, which includes the following:
