Alabama (8-1, 6-0 SEC) remained at No. 8 in the Coaches Poll after its 42-28 win over LSU (6-3, 4-2 SEC) in Week 10. That same ranking also held in the latest AP Poll, which was released soon after on Sunday. In fact, there weren’t any changes amongst the top 9, but Ole Miss did take Oklahoma’s spot at No. 10 after beating Texas A&M on Saturday.

The good news? The Crimson Tide’s resume continues to get strong. I mentioned something similar in the Coaches Poll article, but UA now has two-touchdown victories over No. 10 Ole Miss, No. 14 Tennessee and No. 18 LSU. Sure, they were all at home, but I’m not sure anyone else in the country has that many impressive wins.

Will that matter to the College Football Playoff committee, who also ranked Alabama No. 8 in last week’s initial rankings? We’ll find out on Tuesday night. Up next, the Tide travel to Lexington to take on the Kentucky Wildcats (6-3, 3-3 SEC), who’s only three losses are to No. 1 Georgia, No. 16 Missouri and No. 14 Tennessee. Kickoff for that game is set for 11 a.m. CT, and it’ll air on ESPN.
