Both teams are coming off uninspiring two-week stretches, as Alabama was upset by Vanderbilt and then hung on to defeat South Carolina at home. Meanwhile, Tennessee lost on the road at Arkansas in Week 6 before squeaking out an overtime win over Florida. The loser of this game will have two losses and face an uphill climb to its postseason goals.
Alabama will look to start a new winning streak over Tennessee this weekend as a three-point road favorite. BamaOnLine staff members Charlie Potter, Blake Byler and Jimmy Stein discuss the upcoming rivalry game and what awaits the Tide in the Volunteer State.
The Alabama-related topics discussed by the guys include:
– Ranking Alabama Football’s top-three rivals.
– Final thoughts on the Tide’s win over South Carolina.
– Examining Alabama’s offense vs. Tennessee’s defense.
– The same for the Tide’s defense vs. the Vols’ offense.
– Their favorite Third Saturday in October memories.
– Closing things out with some Bama Basketball talk.
