Alabama trio earns SEC Player of the Week honors after LSU game
Alabama’s Tyler Booker was named Southeastern Conference Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week, Jihaad Campbell earned Co-Defensive Player of the Week recognition and Jalen Milroe picked up Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league office announced Monday morning.
Booker helped set the tone on offense in the Crimson Tide’s 42-13 win at then-No. 15 LSU on Saturday, notching his second weekly honor in as many games. The recognition is the third of Booker’s collegiate career.
Campbell produced a career-best effort against the Tigers, leading to his first weekly distinction this season and the second of his Alabama career. The New Jersey native also earned the title of Co-Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 23, 2023.
Milroe was the catalyst for the Crimson Tide’s road win in Death Valley, leading to his third weekly accolade of 2024. Alabama’s quarterback was also named Offensive Player of the Week following wins over Wisconsin and then-No. 2 Georgia, as the Crimson Tide has now earned 10 weekly honors from the league office this season.

- Matched his career-high total with the four rushing touchdowns and became only the second player in Alabama history to record two four-plus touchdown games in a career (Shaun Alexander)
- Found the end zone as a runner from 39, 10, 19 and 72 yards away
