Three Alabama Crimson Tide players were named to the 2024 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team, the organization announced on Tuesday morning.

While no Crimson Tide player was tabbed as a first-team All-American, offensive linemen Tyler Booker and Parker Brailsford and linebacker Jihaad Campbell each earned second-team nods. It marks the fourth second-team selection for Booker, while Brailsford and Campbell received their first second-team honors of the 2024 postseason.

The FWAA is one of five national outlets that determine consensus All-American status, along with the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association, Sporting News and Walter Camp. If three of the above organizations select a player to their first team, then he earns consensus honors. If a player is named by all five, he is a unanimous selection.

Because no player was recognized as a first-team All-American by the AP, AFCA, FWAA or Walter Camp, Alabama won’t have a consensus All-American for the first time since 2019.
