Alabama unveils official depth chart for Week 1 vs. Western Kentucky
Alabama will kick off the 2024 season later tonight, and before game time, the Crimson Tide unveiled its official depth chart for the Week 1 matchup against Western Kentucky.
A total of 17 newcomers were on the Week 1 depth chart, including six true freshmen. Zabien Brown was listed as a starting cornerback opposite Domani Jackson ahead of Alabama’s season opener. Nine of the Tide’s additions via the transfer portal appeared on the depth chart, as well, with four landing on the top lines of their respective position groups.

There were also 12 “ORs” on the depth chart, signifying an ongoing competition among two or more players. Four defensive positions featured co-starters, with the Wolf position having three players on the top line. Two positions on offense had multiple starters, as well, and they were expected at running back and right tackle as that battle continues.
