Alabama up to No. 11 in Coaches Poll after Week 4 win
Alabama football is on the brink of breaking back into the top-10. After beating a top-25 Ole Miss squad 24-10 on Saturday, the Crimson Tide now check in at No. 11 in the latest edition of the Coaches Poll, which was revealed on Sunday. That SEC opener included a rocky start for Alabama, but they were able to put up a strong effort in the second half to close with a decisive win.
The Rebels didn’t drop too far in the polls either.
After checking in at No. 15 last week, Lane Kiffin and company are still sitting in the top-20, which means they’re one of the seven SEC teams ranking in the top-25. Other than Alabama and Ole Miss, there’s Georgia (No. 1), LSU (No. 12), Tennessee (No. 19), Missouri (No. 22) and Florida (No. 23). The Crimson Tide still have two of those teams left on its regular season schedule.
