TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 2 Alabama (21-3, 10-1 SEC) will welcome No. 1 Auburn (22-2, 10-1) to Coleman Coliseum this afternoon for a historic SEC matchup. The Crimson Tide and Tigers will square off at 3 p.m. CT, and the rivalry game will be broadcast live on ESPN.
Today’s game will be the first-ever No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup between SEC teams and the sixth matchup between teams from the same state. Alabama has seven wins over AP Top 25 teams, tying the program record for most AP wins in a single season (2022-23). The Crimson Tide’s three wins over AP top-10 teams this year are the most in a season since 1982-83.
