NEWARK, N.J. – No. 2-seed Alabama (28-8, 13-5 SEC) will face 1-seed BYU (34-3, 19-1 ACC) in the Elite Eight of the 2025 NCAA Tournament tonight. The Crimson Tide and Blue Devils will face off at 8:49 p.m. CT inside Prudential Center. The matchup will air on TBS/truTV.

Alabama opened this year’s NCAA Tournament with a 90-81 win over 15-seed Robert Morris in Cleveland and defeated 7-seed Saint Mary’s, 80-66, in the Round of 32 two days later to advance to the Sweet 16, where it made a tournament-record 25 3-pointers in its 113-88 win over 6-seed BYU. Duke defeated 16-seed Mount St. Mary’s, 9-seed Baylor and 4-seed Arizona to reach tonight’s East Region final against the Crimson Tide in Newark.

Alabama and Duke have met nine times before on the hardwood, with the Blue Devils claiming an 8-1 edge in the series. However, the two teams have only met once since 2000. Duke is led by All-American freshman Cooper Flagg, the likely No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Alabama has reached the Elite Eight two years in a row and three times in program history. A win over Duke would give the Tide back-to-back Final Four appearances for the first time.
