NASHVILLE, Tenn. – No. 3-seed Alabama (25-7, 13-5 SEC) will take on No. 2-seed Florida (28-4, 14-4) today in the SEC Tournament’s semifinal round at Bridgestone Arena. The Crimson Tide and Gators face off in the last matchup of Day 4, which will begin 25 minutes after the noon CT game between Auburn and Tennesse ends. Both will be broadcast on ESPN.

This will mark the second meeting between Alabama and Florida this season. The Tide lost to the Gators in its home finale, 99-94, on March 5 in a game UF out-rebounded UA, 50-35. It will also be the second straight year the Tide and Gators meet in the SEC Tournament. Florida defeated Alabama in 2024’s quarterfinals, 102-88. UA has lost three straight to UF.

Alabama is looking to win its third SEC Tournament championship in the last five seasons under head coach Nate Oats. There was no SEC Tournament during the 2019-20 campaign, but the Crimson Tide has won two of the last four tournament titles (2020-21, 2022-23).
