TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 6 Alabama (22-5, 11-3 SEC) will welcome No. 24 Mississippi State (19-8, 7-7) to Coleman Coliseum tonight for a conference matchup. The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will square off at 8 p.m. CT, and the SEC game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

This will mark the second time this season that Alabama and Miss. State will meet on the hardwood. They last faced one another on Wednesday, January 29, in Starkville, Mississippi, and the Tide came out on top, 88-85. In that meeting, Chris Youngblood scored 23 points on 7-10 shooting from 3. But Alabama allowed Josh Hubbard to put up a career-high 38 points.

The Bulldogs are the fourth straight opponent ranked among the top 25 that the Tide has faced in February. There are three teams among the nation’s top five still left on Alabama’s schedule to end the regular season (No. 5 Tennessee, No. 3 Florida and No. 1 Auburn).
