Alabama vs. South Florida: Kickoff time, TV channel announced
Alabama’s Week 2 game against South Florida reportedly has a kickoff time and TV channel.
According to Brett McMurphy of Action Network, the Crimson Tide’s home matchup against the Bulls on Saturday, Sept. 7, will start at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN. It marks Alabama’s second straight night game and the first of three games under the lights at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
This will mark the third-ever meeting between Alabama and South Florida and the second of a 2-for-1 series between the Tide and Bulls, Last season, Alabama traveled to Tampa, Florida, to face USF at Raymond James Stadium and defeated the Bulls, 17-3. The Crimson Tide owns a 2-0 record against USF and will welcome the Bulls back to Tuscaloosa in 2026.

The matchup with USF is now the fourth game on Alabama’s 2024 football schedule with a kick time, joining the season opener against Western Kentucky (6 p.m.), the Week 3 road trip to Wisconsin (11 a.m.) and the highly-anticipated Week 5 game against Georgia (6:30 p.m.).
