Alabama wide receiver Kobe Prentice plans to enter the transfer portal, On3’s Pete Nakos reports. Prentice is the fourth Crimson Tide player to transfer in the 20-day winter window.

Prentice, a junior, has played in 10 of Alabama’s games this season and caught 11 passes for 129 yards and one touchdown. Prentice, however, did not play in the last game against Auburn and has played a smaller role this season with only two games of 20-plus snaps.

The Calera, Alabama native has played in 33 career games as a member of the Crimson Tide and has caught 60 passes for 780 yards and five scores in his three seasons on campus.

Prentice is a former top-100 prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was considered the No. 11 wide receiver and No. 72 overall player in that class before announcing his commitment to UA over Maryland and Mississippi State.

The NCAA transfer portal’s 20-day window will open on Monday, December 9, and will close on Saturday, December 28. A second, but brief, 10-day window will open from April 16-25.
