Another week, another that still has Alabama sitting at No. 8 in the rankings. On Sunday, the latest AP Poll was revealed with the Crimson Tide holding firm for a third-straight week. Granted, this news shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone, as UA beat UT-Chattanooga 66-10 on Saturday. With the Mocs being an FCS opponent, that’s not going to carry much (if any) weight in the eyes of voters.

The Crimson Tide did get to 10 wins, which makes a double-digit win total in each of the last 16 seasons for Nick Saban and the program. What a spectacular run, especially with all the various changes we’ve seen in college football over the last several years. And with Alabama having at least Auburn and a top-ranked Georgia squad left on its schedule, there’s a chance to build on that win total for 2023. It won’t be easy though.
