For the fifth straight year, the Alabama Crimson Tide have defeated the Auburn Tigers. Bama is now up to 51 wins in the history of the Iron Bowl, with Saturday marking the 89th edition of the rivalry. They’ve now won their last seven home games against Auburn by at least 11 points.

In Saturday’s 28-14 win, Alabama controlled the game for the most part, despite some turnovers that could’ve been costly. Bama turned the ball four times, but it led to just six points for Auburn.

The turnovers cannot be overlooked, but the Tide were able to be effective on offense in key spots. Kalen DeBoer’s group put up 457 total yards and controlled the Time of Possession battle by over 13 minutes. They had an exceptional 9-play, 75-yard touchdown drive to start the second half, and had a 13-play drive that chewed up 7 minutes, 45 seconds of game time in the fourth quarter.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe turned the ball over three times, but did have 370 total yards of offense and three touchdowns on the ground. He finishes the regular season with 20 rushing touchdowns, and 35 total touchdowns.
