BOL Live Show: Instant Analysis of Alabama's narrow win over South Carolina
Alabama has been in some tight battles as of late. In each of their two matchups prior to this week, it finished as a one-possession game. Bama beat No. 2 Georgia at home by seven points, before falling to Vanderbilt a week later 40-35.
On Saturday against South Carolina, the Tide got off to a hot start with a 9-play, 75-yard touchdown drive on their first possession to go up 7-0. They would then go up 14-0 in the second quarter with four minutes left to go in the half. A strange sequence of events eventually led to the Gamecocks scoring 12 points and trailing by just two points heading into the half.
